Some time a go I sent a  letter, "Curriculum '68 considered harmful",
to  Dr. Ashenhurst of  the ACM and  was subsequently  notified by him
that you were to review it for possible publication in CACM. 

As yet I have heard nothing.  Can you give me some  information about
the status of your review.
